Found this at a thrift store years ago, it became a regular on Sad and Beautiful World a radio show I was co-hosting with a friend of mine at the time. We played a lot of audio art and created our own live on air mixes, this tape was ideal for that. Interesting program. Delightfully underproduced. Sometimes the parody of genre is subsumed by the parody of commercial radio. Have you listened to Firesign Theatre? I think they achieved a similar comedic style without resorting to commerciallity. Which is probably why they descended into obscurity. Unfortunately.
No i haven't heard of Firesign Theatre, I shall go look them up.
